シマウツボ Shimautsubo

シマウツボは小笠原の固有種です。全体が鮮やかな黄金色をしており、オガサワラビロウなどの根に発生する寄生植物です。小笠原では例年３月から４月の間に見られます。

Shimautsubo(a species of the Orobanche) is an endemic species in Ogasawara. The whole body has bright golden color. It is parasitic plant which is parasitic on the root of Ogasawarabirou. We can see the flower every March to April in Ogasawara.
