Hama-rikyu Gardens – traditional Japanese gardens from the Edo period

Access from the closest station to Hama-rikyu Gardens

Otemon Entrance :

  • Toei O-edo Line Tsukiji-shijo Sta. E-18 (7 minutes on foot)
  • Toei O-edo Line Shiodome Sta. E-19 (7 minutes on foot)
  • Yurikamome Shiodome Sta. (7 minutes on foot)
  • JR Shimbashi Sta. (12 minutes on foot)
  • Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Shimbashi Sta. G-08 (12 minutes on foot)
  • Toei Asakusa Line Shimbashi Sta. A-10 (12 minutes on foot)

Naka-no-gomon Entrance :

  • Toei O-edo Line Shiodome Sta. E-19 (5 minutes on foot)
  • JR Hamamatsu-cho (15 minutes on foot)
  • Sumida River Line (Asakusa — Hama-rikyu — Hinode - Sambashi)
  • Tokyo Mizube Cruising Line(Ryogoku ‒ Hama-rikyu ‒ Odaiba-Kaihin-Koen)

Access to the nearest station from Tokyo Station/Haneda Airport/Narita Airport

From Tokyo Station:

  • Take thethe JR Yamanote Line and get off at the Shimbashi Station. (12 minutes on foot)

From Haneda Airport:

  • Via Local Train(Keikyu and JR)
    Take the Keikyu Airport line and get off at the Shinagawa Station. Transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and get off at the Shimbashi Station. (12 minutes on foot)
  • Via Tokyo Monorail
    Take the Tokyo Monorail and get off at the Hamamatsucho Station. (15 minutes on foot)

From Narita International Airport

  • Via Narita Express(JR)
    Take the JR Narita Express and get off at the Tokyo Station. Transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and get off at the Shimbashi Station. (12 minutes on foot)
  • Via Keisei Skyliner(Keisei)
    Take the Keisei Skyliner and get off at the Nippori Station. Transfer to the Yamanote Line and get off at the Shimbashi Station. (12 minutes on foot)

Access

Jindai Botanical Gardens – enjoy traditional Japanese gardening and plant breeds around the year

Access from the closest station to Jindai Botanical Gardens

  • Take the Keio Line to Chofu, and then take an Odakyu bus bound for either Kichijoji or Mitaka, and get off at Jindai-shokubutsu-koen-mae.
  • Take the Keio Line to Chofu, and then take a Keio bus bound for Jindaiji Temple, and get off at Jindai-shokubutsu-koen-mae.
  • Take the JR Line to Mitaka, and then take an Odakyu bus bound for either Chofu or Jindaiji Temple, and get off at Jindai-shokubutsu-koen-mae.

Access to the nearest station from Tokyo Station/Haneda Airport/Narita Airport

From Tokyo Station:

  • Take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) and get off at Mitaka (or take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) to Shinjuku, and then take the Keio Line and get off at Chofu).

From Haneda Airport:

  • Take the Keikyu Airport Line bound for Narita Airport to Shinagawa, and then take the JR Yamanote Line to Shinjuku. From Shinjuku, take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) to Mitaka (or take the Keio Line and get off at Chofu).

From Narita International Airport

  • Take the JR Narita Express to Tokyo, and then take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) to Mitaka (or from Shinjuku, take the Keio Line and get off at Chofu).
  • Take the Keisei Skyliner to Nippori, and then take the JR Yamanote Line to Shinjuku. From Shinjuku, take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) to Mitaka (or take the Keio Line and get off at Chofu).
